Designed specifically for the latest hi-tech, small form factor machines, the Horizon-2S is just 175mm long and provides the perfect solution for dual screen Windows® displays, extending your work area, while still only occupying one PCI slot in your PC.
Essentially, two graphics cards in one, the Horizon-2S has two independent S3 Savage 4 chips and two separate banks of 8MBytes of SGRAM - one per display channel - to bring superb image quality at high resolution and colour depths. With a top resolution of 1600 x 120064k colour per screen you can be sure of displaying all the applications you need. If you need more screens, then you can simply install another Horizon.
Because small form factor machines have limited PCI slots and no AGP positions, the Horizon-2S represents the ultimate integrated solution for multi-screen displays. In addition, the Horizon-2S has optional modules for displaying live video or TV overlay windows on the desktop.
EMS multi-screen solutions use the latest digital technology for stunning video quality. Multiple independent video windows can be displayed simultaneously, and can be scaled to full screen with horizontal and vertical interpolation for high quality images. Chroma-key support also allows you to overlay graphics onto video and video onto graphics.
Every Horizon solution also includes TWIN Control, leading screen management and configuration software for the professional approach to screen handling.
